Assistant Prop Shop Manager
Oversaw daily operations of the prop shop with 30-35 artisans and 6-8 shop staff members for 3 semesters. Managed scheduling for 5-7 productions per semester, and was a liaison between students and faculty.
Properties Director
Supervised 20 artisans and over 170 props under a $2500 budget for Lucy Prebble’s Enron in a black box theater. Specialty props included a working TV, a treadmill, a lit computer screen, and a snow cradle for shredded paper.
Installation Co-Creator
Conceptualized an original installation exhibited in a 32,500 square-foot field for 3 weeks under a $2000 budget. Coordinated 3 events to be held in the installation space during the run of the exhibit.
Assistant Properties Director
Facilitated props construction for a devised play with large set dressing tableaus under a $2000 budget. Tracked projects in process, items pulled from storage, and purchases to fulfill the needs of the scenic design.
Properties Artisan
Painted props for multiple productions, including an 11’x19’ rug, furniture, a 6’ tall banner, and Italian pottery. Craftwork includes three 6’ standing candelabras, custom drapery, 2 large piñatas, foam carving, and molding and casting. Carpentry includes a piano, a butcher’s block, a telephone booth, a side table, and a rush seat footstool.
Properties Run Crew
Handled weapons, blood, barber chair installation, food, and breakaway props for a production of Sweeney Todd. Ensured safety and consistent usage of props and aided in supervision of 5 additional run crew members.
